June Loves

1.) Bath & Body Works new Coconut line. I love the smell of coconuts. But I'm not gonna lie, I DID like their Vanilla line last year better. Regardless, all three of these smell yummy. Coconut Passionfruit is my ultimate fav. I love just throwing one of the three into my bag and using it throughout the day.

2.) Charming & Fun Body Spray from PINK. Yes, this was part of their Semi-Annual Sale! I think it was only $3? But don't quote me on that. If you're lucky enough to have picked it up, then you know this smells amazing. It doesn't smell fruity, but more country like? If that makes sense.

3.) Mac's eye shadow in Black Tied. I love using this as my crease color. It's pretty intense, so I use it with a light hand  but for those nights I want to smoke it up, you bet it's in my crease.

4.) Best Love Song by T-pain. This is that song. That song I can listen to on repeat 500 times and never got sick of it. It's perfect for working out too. Hearing it just makes me want to get up and dance! My iPods probably sick of this song though. . .

5.) Chanel's In Love Blush. I've tried tracking down this baby at least 3 times. Everywhere I went it was sold out. So one day, I stopped at Macy's to get something from the MAC counter, and thought I'd check the Chanel counter, just in case. And BAM, they had it. It totally made my day. And I'm most certainly in love with this color :) It's been on my cheeks 24/7 since the day I bought it.

6.) Hollister Dresses. I've always loved Hollister's dresses. I honestly think they come out with some of the cutest summer dresses every single year. Which is why they're in my favs ;)

7.) Gladiator sandals. I told you, I love me some Gladiators! I love dark brown ones because they go with almost every outfit imaginable. To me, they will never, ever go out of style...

8.) Victoria's Secret Glitter Eyeliners. Some of them are completely kickass, and some of them just plain suck. I suggest you try out the color before you bring it home. I really like the black & purple one though! They're perfect to add a little sparkle to my eyes.

9.) The Falsies Black Drama. There's been tons of hype about this product, and many mixed feelings. I have to say, I'm with all the people who adore this mascara! It makes my lashes super long and volumized. Not to the point where it looks like I'm wearing false lashes, but better than any other mascara has done. And layering One by One over the top, puts my lashes over the top!

10.) Glitter nail polishes. Yes, I'm a fan on them. I'm that kind of person who can't stay still while I'm letting my nails dry so they ALWAYS end up getting messed up. But putting a glitter polish over the top makes them look like nothing ever happened. And if i'm feeling extra dangerous that day, I'll put over an OPI Shatter or China Glaze Crackle.

11.) My North Face. This is my baby. I cannot leave my house without this. It keeps me so warm and cozy. I've actually thought about buying one for my car, one for my house, and one for my bag because I'm that in love. But that'd be just a little crazy ;)

The Perfect Red Lips

Here are some tips on how to achieve that classy red lip. You'll be head-turning and drop dead pretty ;)

-Keep the rest of your makeup natural. You want your lips to stand out.
-Use lip liner around your lips first, this will help the red lipstick to stay where it's supposed to be, your lips.
-If you don't feel comfortable wearing a red lipstick, wearing a red gloss will still give your lips a sheer wash of red without being as dramatic.
-For pale skin, try blue-based reds.
-For tanned skin, coral reds look great on you.
-For medium skin, the classic red and red with a hint of pink are your best match.
-For darker skin, wearing deep reds compliment your skin tone.
-Here are some great lipsticks to try. . .

NARS, I'm Addicted

No, my obsession is not healthy. Nor does it fail to leave my wallet empty. Every time I walk into Sephora, I can't help but to buy something from NARS. And guess what I did today, state the obvious. I now have two brand new nail polishes, a blush, and three lip glosses; compliments from none other, NARS. I secretly think they put crack into their makeup, cause I can't stop buying. And now I officially think my wallet hates me, because it's so lonely. It's always been missing it's partner in crime lately, mula aka money. But everything's so pretty from NARS! The colors are just so gorgeous, I can't resist. Do they make a NARS Anonymous? Cause I need to join, asap.

But since I'm ranting about NARS here, I thought I'd list some of my favorite products from yours truly, NARS :)
-NARS Laguna Bronzer (Elf's Blush/Bronzer duo's bronzer is extremely similar. The blush however, not so much for orgasm.)
-NARS Cream Blush in Cactus Flower
-NARS Blush in Madly & Sex Appeal
-NARS Orgasm Nail Polish (Similar to OPI's Your Villa or Mine. OPI's is more pink, while NARS is more peachy.)
-NARS Eyeshadow in Night Breed (Similar to Mac's Black Tied.)
-NARS Lip gloss in Easy Lover, Supervixen, & Turkish Delight.

Love You Like a Love Song

Girl About Town Lipstick/MAC/$14.50, Nars Amour Blush/Sephora/$27, False Lashes/MAC/$14, Maybelline Line Stiletto Liquid Eyeliner/Drugstores/$6, Chanel Vitalumiere Liquid Foundation/Nordstroms/$55

Selena Gomez is looking gorgeous, as always, in pictures from her newest music video, "Love You Like a Love Song." It's her & the Scenes second official single from their new album "When the Sun Goes Down," out June 28th. To recreate her look, first apply foundation to get a flawless face. She's wearing a bright fuchsia pink lipstick and Mac's Girl About Town looks almost dead on to hers. For the blush, she used a warm peachy pink, like Nar's Amour. To create her dramatic winged liner look, any liquid liner would work. She's also wearing some dramatic falsies, but if you're going for a more subtle look, then just using mascara is a great alternative.

Love you like a long song ;)
