What NOT to Wear on a First Date

Since we've talked about what to wear, now we're gonna talk about what not to wear! First dates are fun and exciting. They can also be extremely nerve wracking. Follow these fashion don'ts and your date will turn out just as fabulous as you look :)

1.) Fancy dresses. It's a date, not prom night. Unless you ARE going to prom or somewhere breath taking fancy, avoid these. Dresses can be perfect first date outfits, but if you show up in one that's completely over the top, he'll be thinking, what was she thinking?
2.) Stripper heels. What more can you say? Save those for the poles.
3.) Sweatpants or pajamas. After like 20 dates, feel free to wear these whenever he's around. But for your first impression, you want to make it one he'll remember. As for sweatpants... well sexy in bed, but not in public.
4.) Low cut shirts. If you're going to wear something low cut, I hope you plan on wearing something underneath! You want him to be staring at your gorgeous face, not your cleavage...
5.) Bangles. Cute, yes. Good for first dates? No. Bangles are like turning your arm into a tambourine. Every movement you make, clink clink clink. Unless he digs dating tambourines, then pass on these :)

June Loves

1.) Bath & Body Works new Coconut line. I love the smell of coconuts. But I'm not gonna lie, I DID like their Vanilla line last year better. Regardless, all three of these smell yummy. Coconut Passionfruit is my ultimate fav. I love just throwing one of the three into my bag and using it throughout the day.

2.) Charming & Fun Body Spray from PINK. Yes, this was part of their Semi-Annual Sale! I think it was only $3? But don't quote me on that. If you're lucky enough to have picked it up, then you know this smells amazing. It doesn't smell fruity, but more country like? If that makes sense.

3.) Mac's eye shadow in Black Tied. I love using this as my crease color. It's pretty intense, so I use it with a light hand  but for those nights I want to smoke it up, you bet it's in my crease.

4.) Best Love Song by T-pain. This is that song. That song I can listen to on repeat 500 times and never got sick of it. It's perfect for working out too. Hearing it just makes me want to get up and dance! My iPods probably sick of this song though. . .

5.) Chanel's In Love Blush. I've tried tracking down this baby at least 3 times. Everywhere I went it was sold out. So one day, I stopped at Macy's to get something from the MAC counter, and thought I'd check the Chanel counter, just in case. And BAM, they had it. It totally made my day. And I'm most certainly in love with this color :) It's been on my cheeks 24/7 since the day I bought it.

6.) Hollister Dresses. I've always loved Hollister's dresses. I honestly think they come out with some of the cutest summer dresses every single year. Which is why they're in my favs ;)

7.) Gladiator sandals. I told you, I love me some Gladiators! I love dark brown ones because they go with almost every outfit imaginable. To me, they will never, ever go out of style...

8.) Victoria's Secret Glitter Eyeliners. Some of them are completely kickass, and some of them just plain suck. I suggest you try out the color before you bring it home. I really like the black & purple one though! They're perfect to add a little sparkle to my eyes.

9.) The Falsies Black Drama. There's been tons of hype about this product, and many mixed feelings. I have to say, I'm with all the people who adore this mascara! It makes my lashes super long and volumized. Not to the point where it looks like I'm wearing false lashes, but better than any other mascara has done. And layering One by One over the top, puts my lashes over the top!

10.) Glitter nail polishes. Yes, I'm a fan on them. I'm that kind of person who can't stay still while I'm letting my nails dry so they ALWAYS end up getting messed up. But putting a glitter polish over the top makes them look like nothing ever happened. And if i'm feeling extra dangerous that day, I'll put over an OPI Shatter or China Glaze Crackle.

11.) My North Face. This is my baby. I cannot leave my house without this. It keeps me so warm and cozy. I've actually thought about buying one for my car, one for my house, and one for my bag because I'm that in love. But that'd be just a little crazy ;)

What To Wear: First Date

1.) Cute girly tops are always great to wear on a first date! Pairing them with dark washed jeans still look casual, but dress up your look more than regular or light washed jeans would. Wearing wedges also make you look more dressier. If your date is taking you somewhere more casual then just regular flats would work great!

2.) This outfit is a little more grown up and sophisticated. Wearing skirts are a great way to show off your legs. If you're going somewhere during the evening, like to an outdoor restaurant on the beach, wearing a pretty pink shade like this will make your face glow beautifully! This outfit is also great if you're hitting somewhere during the daytime!

3.) The ruffled vest over a plain spaghetti strap top would look classic and trendy. Wearing sandals over skinny jeans almost always look fabulous. What I love the most about those sandals is that they have a little pop of blue in them! I think this outfit would look great going to the movies.

You Smell Amazing, Look Amazing, and you still suck?

Dear TIGI Shampoo,
Many people like you,
really they do.
I however don't.
I admit your the most amazing shampoo I've ever smelled in my life.
Your bottle is so pretty,
the  packaging just kills me.
Its like the most gorgeous mermaid
blue, green ever.
I love staring at you when I'm in the shower.
I love smelling you, even when I'm not in the shower.
But you suck, and do absolutely
nothing to my hair.
And your $10 price tag, ugh.
Your drop dead pretty.
But It's just not worth $10
to stare at you 24/7.
So you've left me...
disappointed :(
